For the greatest sensor range and accuracy, it is recommended to install the Silver Shield sensor 2.0 - 3.5 meters from the ground in the corner of the room.
Warning: Do not install on rough surfaces due to sensor fall risk.
Sensor Placement
1. Clean the wall - Gently wipe down the area of the wall with rubbing alcohol where you wish to install the sensor.
2. Position and place the sensor - Once the area is dry, peel off the sensor's adhesive backing, then firmly press the sensor against the wall.
3. Connect the sensor to power - Plug the power cable firmly into the sensor and the other end into the included power adaptor.
4. (Optional) Cable management - Using the included cable clips, feel free to affix the power cable along the wall and baseboards to prevent tripping hazards.
