Mounting errors occur when a device is rotated outside the angle range of -10° to 10°, or tilted up or down outside the range of 0° and 5°. Devices are not functional when a mounting error is detected. To resume functionality, realign your device on the wall.

Steps

  1. In the Rooms view, select the room with a device error.

  2. Tap Angle Correction to see the rotation and tilt of your device, and realign it accordingly.

  3. Reinstall your device in the corner.

  4. When the red LED turns off, you'll know the mounting error has been corrected.

  5. If you are unable to correct the mounting error, tap the Add Device button in the Rooms view and follow the onboarding steps to recalibrate your room.

Additional tips

  • Be sure to clean the wall surface with an alcohol wipe before adhesive mounting.

  • Ensure that the walls of the selected corner are vertical. If this isn’t the case, try choosing another corner for mounting.

  • If you are re-mounting a device, make sure to replace the adhesive tape on the mounting sleeve flaps.
